How it works
The facilitator
The facilitator is your white-team coach. It has full knowledge of the scenario but is there to guide your thinking — never to hand you the answers.
Where to find it
You have a private chat with the facilitator — separate from the war room and from any DM. Only you see it. Open it whenever you're unsure what your role should do next.
Hints, not answers
Ask things like “what would the CISOtypically consider here?” or “who should I notify first?”. The facilitator will nudge your thinking — a pointed question, a relevant procedure, a stakeholder you might have missed — rather than telling you exactly what to type. The learning is in working it out yourself.
- It can explain your role's scope and responsibilities.
- It can talk through something that has already happened.
- It will neverreveal what's coming next — no hints about upcoming injects or future events.
Use it freely
Talking to the facilitator doesn't break character for the rest of the team — they can't see it. When you're stuck, ask.
