Getting started
Organization & roles
Everything in poisettx lives inside an organization — your team's shared workspace. This page explains how the organization is set up, the difference between an admin and a participant, and how to invite and manage your team.
Your organization
An organizationis the container for your whole team's work: its simulations, uploaded documents, exercise sessions, and debrief reports all belong to it and are shared with everyone in it. When you first sign up, an organization is created for you and you become its first admin.
Each account belongs to one organization. Everyone you invite joins that same workspace and sees the same library of simulations and documents — what differs is what they're allowed to change, which comes down to their role.
Two roles: admin and participant
Every member of an organization has one of two roles. The role is set when they're invited and controls what they can do across the app.
Admins build and run the program. An admin can:
- Generate, edit, archive, and delete simulations.
- Configure a simulation's scenario, roles, and inject timeline.
- Upload documents and generate them with AI.
- Assign roles and start an exercise (open the war room).
- Run the debrief and review its report.
- Invite and remove team members and manage the organization's plan and details.
Participants take part in exercises. A participant can:
- Browse the organization's simulations, documents, sessions, and debrief reports.
- Be assigned to an exercise and play a role as a human in the war room.
- Use direct messages and the facilitator chat during a session.
Participants can't create or edit simulations, manage documents, start exercises, or invite members, and they don't see the team management area. Think of admins as the people who set up and steer the exercises, and participants as the players who take part in them.
Two different kinds of role
Running a session for how that works.Inviting your team
Admins add people from Settings → Members. Inviting requires an active plan.
- 1
Open Settings → Members
This area is visible to admins only. - 2
Enter their email address
It has to be on your organization's email domain — if you areyou@yourcompany.com, you can only invite other@yourcompany.comaddresses. You can't invite yourself. - 3
Choose their role
Participant (the default) or Admin. - 4
They receive an email
An invite link is emailed to them. Until they accept, the invite shows as Pending — you can cancel it any time. - 5
They join
Following the link creates their account and adds them to your organization with the role you picked.
Seats
Managing members
From the same Members page, an admin can remove a member or cancel a pending invitation. A few guardrails keep an organization from locking itself out:
- You can't remove yourself — ask another admin to do it.
- An organization must always keep at least one admin, so the last admin can't be removed.
- Cancelling a pending invitation frees up its seat immediately.
Plans and access
An organization runs on a plan that an admin chooses. Your plan determines your seat count and the size of the exercises you can run. The plan and billing are managed by admins.
- Active — full access: generate simulations, run exercises, and invite members.
- Preview (no plan picked yet) and Lapsed (plan ended) — read-only. You can browse existing content, but generating, running, and inviting are paused until an admin picks or renews a plan.
